Will Cureton
Mr. Cureton co-founded CLB Partners in 1997. Will’s overall responsibilities include the oversight of day-to-day operations, new projects, contract negotiations, site acquisition, on-going development and all financial activities. He has over 30 years of extensive business, real estate development and investment experience.

Since its inception, CLB's developments total over $600 million. The company's first-of-its-kind loft highrise in Dallas, 2011 Cedar Springs Road, was successfully completed in the last quarter of 2000; from that time forward, Will's innovative approach to real estate development has been the driving force behind CLB's expansion of its product-type, geographic diversity, and design expertise.

In the public sector, as Chief Operating Officer of Columbus Realty Trust, Will directed the Dallas based self-administered and self-managed REIT in becoming the market leader in the development of residential communities in the Uptown district of Dallas. Columbus' stock was listed on the New York Stock Exchange until October 1997, when it was acquired by Post Properties, an Atlanta-based multi-family REIT. At the time of the acquisition, Columbus properties represented an aggregate value of more than $500 million.

Before his tenure at Columbus, he was co-founder of Texana, a commercial real estate investment and property management company. Under his guidance as President and Chief Executive Officer, the firm completed two major acquisitions totaling $80 million during its first year of operations. These transactions were comprised of land, office and industrial space, multi-family and retail properties.

Prior to becoming a successful businessman, Will was known for his athletic accomplishments. he was quarterback for the Cleveland Browns until his retirement in 1976 to pursue a public accounting career with Coopers & Lybrand in Dallas. His professional background includes a seven-year tenure as Vice President/Chief Operating Officer of The DicoGroup, Inc., a Dallas-based real estate investment company.

Will has been an active participant in The Real Estate Council for many years, having served as its Chairman, a member of its Advisory Board, as well as chairperson of its Associate Leadership Council. Furthermore, he serves on the Advisory Board for Frost Bank and on the Board of Directors for Ascendant Solutions.  Will has also served as a member of the Board of CityHomes, and is a past Director of the Ferndale Club.

A native of Whitewright, Texas, Will received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from East Texas State University (now Texas A&M University – Commerce). In 1993, he was honored with an induction into the East Texas State University Athletic Hall of Fame where he played football. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Mayo Foundation for his alma mater.
